The Readiness to Serve charge is for water service connection and is paid by all users connected to the City's water system, whether or not any water is actually used. It is a fixed component of the cost of providing water based on the size of the meter. The Readiness to Serve fee covers our fixed costs of providing water. Fixed costs include debt, regulatory compliance, providing fire flow, customer service, utility billing, personnel and preventive maintenance, etc.

The charge is based on water meter size.

Backflow Program Fee

A Backflow Program Fee of $6.70 per month is charged for each backflow device.

A monthly service fee is charged based on the size of line for all private fire protection services as follows:
