  • Founded in 1964
  • Serves approximately 150,000 customers
  • Service Area:  Approximately 45 square miles
  • Maintains 593 miles of water mains
  • Operates and maintains:
    - 21 active wells
    - 20 booster stations
    - 2 surface water treatment plants
    - 1 ground water reverse osmosis facility
    - 3 blending facilities
    - 6 pressure zones
  • 14 billion gallons per year produced and supplied to customers 
  • Seasonal Water Production
    - Summer: 40 million gallons per day average
    - Winter: 20 million gallons per day average

Water Reclamation Division

  • Water Reclamation Facility #1 built in 1968
  • Serves approximately 144,000 customers
  • Maintains 444 miles of wastewater mains
  • Water Reclamation System consists of:
    - 13 lift stations
    - 3 treatment facilities
             - Water Reclamation Facility #1
             - Water Reclamation Facility #2
             - Water Reclamation Facility #3
  • Reclaimed Water System
    - 3 reclaimed water storage tanks
    - 5 reclaimed booster stations
    - 44 miles of reclaimed water lines
  • Treats 13.5 million gallons per day on average
  • Seasonal reclaimed water production:
    - Summer: 5.5 million gallons per day average
    - Winter: 3 million gallons per day average

Electric Division

  • Municipally owned electric utility established April 4, 2001
  • Serves approximately 1,800 customers
  • Current load is approximately 25 MW of peak demand
  • Provides bundled services to eight areas in the City, and provides energy to Direct Access customers throughout Corona.
